Στις 30 Μαΐου, πραγματοποιήθηκαν διαδηλώσεις σχεδόν σε όλες τις μεγάλες πόλεις της Αμερικής το θάνατο του Τζόρτζ Φλόιντ, με την Εθνική Φρουρά σε πλήρη κινητοποίηση σε τουλάχιστον 15 πολιτείες.

Πολλές από τις διαμαρτυρίες εξελίχθηκαν σε βίαιες με λεηλασίες και συλλήψεις, ωστόσο άλλες παρέμειναν ειρηνικές με αρκετούς διάσημους να συμμετέχουν για ζητώντας δικαιοσύνη για τον άδικο θάνατο του 46χρονου Αφροαμερικανού.

Πολλοί χρήστες στο τουίτερ ανέβασαν στιγμιότυπα και φωτογραφίες της διάσημης ποπ σταρ στους δρόμους της Καλιφόρνια να διαδηλώνει και εκείνη για την θάνατο του Φλόιντ.

«Ολόκληρες ώρες και μίλια ειρηνικής διαδήλωσης που δεν έδειξαν οι ειδήσεις». Και η ίδια η σταρ ανέβασε ιστορία στο instagram από τις διαδηλώσεις και έχει παροτρύνει πολλούς διάσημους να κάνουν το ίδιο.

Im safe. There were ppl I had to get to safety as many of them have VISAs. Myself + many of my peers were shot, gassed + antagonized. The frontline was calm + did not provoke
